RETINÆ S.R.L. considers of fundamental importance the protection of personal data of the Users of the website https://retinae.com/ (hereinafter “Site”) of its own and/or potential customers and those with whom it has, for various reasons, a contractual relationship, therefore, through this Policy, made pursuant to art. 13 Reg.UE 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), RETINÆ S.R.L. intended to share its policy on the processing of personal data.

2. Type of data processed by RETINÆ S.R.L. through the Site, purpose, legal basis and storage period

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of the Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (Internet domain and IP protocol, type of browser and computer operating system used, date, time and permanence on the site, pages viewed, any search engine from which you entered the site). Such information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, however, by its very nature it could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by Users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and will be deleted immediately after processing, without prejudice to the need to ascertain crimes by the Judicial Authority.

3.  Treatment modalities

The personal data of the Users will be processed by means of computer/telematic or paper tools, ensuring the use of appropriate technical and organizational security measures, pursuant to and for the purposes of Art. 32 EU Reg. 2016/679, suitable to reduce the risk of destruction, loss, unauthorized access or processing of personal data that is not permitted or otherwise not in accordance with the purposes of the relevant collection.

The Data Controller guarantees that personal data provided by Users will be processed, by expressly authorized personnel, in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, transparency, protection of confidentiality and the rights of the data subject.

4. Scope of data communication

The personal data provided by the interested parties may be communicated to public, institutional or professional entities empowered by law to require their acquisition as well as, exclusively for the purposes provided for in art.3), to third party companies or professionals, which RETINÆ S.R.L. uses in carrying out its business activities such as, but not limited to, accounting and tax consultants, legal and industry consultants, third party companies supplying and assisting IT. It should be noted how these “third parties”, if they do not act as Data Controllers hold, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 28 of EU Reg. 2016/679, the role of Data Processors and consequently, observe, by virtue of specific contractual agreement, security standards with regard to the processing of data communicated to them. The list of third parties is available upon express request sent to RETINÆ S.R.L. at the addresses indicated at the bottom of this privacy policy. It should be noted how, in any case, the personal data of the interested parties are not disseminated or transmitted to third countries (outside the EU).

5. Rights of data subjects

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 15 ff of EU Reg. 2016/679, at any time the User may exercise towards the Data Controller, their rights of: “Right of access “which allows the interested party to access their personal data and obtain a copy of it; “Right of rectification “which allows the interested party to obtain the rectification of their data, if it is inaccurate, or the integration of their data, if it is incomplete; “Right to cancellation “which allows the interested party to obtain the cancellation of their data in the cases provided for by Art. 17 Reg.Ue 2016/679; “Right to restriction of processing “which allows the data subject to obtain the restriction of processing in the cases provided for by art. 18 Reg. Ue 2016/679; “Right to data portability “which allows the data subject to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, their personal data as well as to request their transmission, by RETINÆ S.R.L., to another Data Controller; “Right to object “which allows the data subject to object, at any time, for reasons related to his or her personal situation, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her carried out pursuant to Article 6 c.1 lett. e) or f) Reg.UE 2016/679, as well as to object to the processing of data carried out for direct marketing purposes; “Right to lodge a Complaint “which allows the data subject to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority pursuant to and in accordance with Article 77 Reg.UE 2016/679.

For the purposes of exercising the rights under Art. 15 ss of EU Reg. 2016/679, or to obtain more information on the Privacy Policy, the data subject may contact RETINÆ S.R.L. by registered letter with return receipt or contact the Data Controller by sending an email to the following address info@retinae.com.

It should be noted as of now that, before any information can be provided, or changed, it may be necessary to verify the identity of the data subject.
